Sport Touring Riders Review

The Sport Touring Riders held a ride last weekend starting from California Sport Touring in Martinez last weekend. http://www.casporttouring.com.

The weather was most excellent as well at the turnout. There were about 21 bikes and 24 people who showed up. A good time was had by all exploring the back roads of Contra Costa and Alameda County.

Details about the club and upcomming events can be found on our web site: http://www.st-riders.org

That was a good start-of-year ride, Chad.

Unf. 80 miles wasn't enough.... so I tacked on another 120 to make it an even 200-mile day (out to Livermore via the backroads, down to the Junction Cafe, and then back home via Vasco, Brentwood, etc.)

However, I understand quite a few folks rode a long ways to get to the start of the ride... so those of us who 'live right up the street' got to get a late start to the morning!

Now, when are we gonna do Highway 36?

Is there a ride review ? I clicked on the link and got a commercial website with no obvious link to a review.

Thanks for putting this ride together Chad, we had alot of fun. The pace was perfect for me. My buddy (Sergio)and I continued riding after TGIF. We went down Tesla to 5, then Patterson Pass back to Midway to Grant Line then Byron Hwy to Marsh Creek and finished with a couple of cold Porters and lunch at Ed's Mudville in Clayton. We ran into a nice group of Lady riders on Moto Guzzi's there. We clocked about 220 miles. Can't wait to do it again! I'm going to try to make the ride on the 18th. C'ya then!
