Sunday 3/28 Hwy 36 ride.

I put this in the group rides section, but thought I'd also post it here for you long distance day riders.

Sunday March 28 I'm headed up to the top of California on a little sport touring ride to hit one of my all time favorite roads Hwy 36 .

I'm leaving from the *$ in Vacaville at 80 and Alamo 0700.
The route is straight up I-5 to Red Bluff, then across hwy36 to Fortuna.
Then back across hwy 36 again to Red Bluff and home on I-5.

That's 4 hours of slab and about 6 hours nonstop on some of the finest twisties in the state.

Total about 550 miles with 3 planned gas stops, stopping in Red Bluff for a late breakfast and Fortuna for lunch. Distance between gas stops won't exceed 145 miles unless I get lost.

Any and all who want to come along are welcome.

The weather should be perfect Sunday for getting out of your "back yard".
